If you’re using Internet Explorer to view this web page then shame on you! You should be using Firefox. In my opinion, and millions of others as well, it is the best web browser available. It’s free, easy to use, and as I am about show, very customizable if you so choose that route.
One of the features about Firefox that I like is that you can extend or alter Firefox’s abilities by adding extensions, also known as add-ons. Thousands of add-ons are available at the Firefox Add-ons website ranging from simple things like adding a clock to your status bar to allowing you to alter any web page with impunity.
Naturally as a web developer I’m going to tweak my web browser to my likings and to make it serve me better. I’ve installed many extensions some of which I cannot live without (highlighted in bold).

Some get used more then others but all of them benefit me in some way. They take an already excellent piece of software and make it even better…and more difficult to part with.
Yes, firefox is the best. I love how you can open multiple tabs at once. I had to get used to looking at the top of my screen instead of the bottom for the other sites I had open though 😉
