For those of you who don’t use much slang or don’t really care where it came from, there is website called Urban Dictionary that offers up user submitted definitions for various slang and derogatory terms.

While checking the rankings of my personal website in Google I noticed that the seventh position for thew term “stymiee” was Urban Dictionary. I thought it was odd that it was even there at all so I took a look to see what the definitions where and was flabbergasted when I found they both related to me!

The first definition is:

(stymieed) v. To confuse others greatly, for fun.

John decided to celebrate their anniversary he would stymiee his beloved Zach, by acting like the total opposite of himself.

This is based on an old running joke from SitePoint Forums where I and Zach, known as lo0ol, where voted couple of the year. To further reinforce the SitePoint reference one of the tags is “bug” which is a reference to my avatar which is a bug.

The second definition is:

To be photographed while having a fro.

“The poor bastard got stymieed when he woke up this morning”

This is in reference to my afro picture which I still get teased about at the SitePoint forums.

So I have been immortalized as a homosexual prude with an afro by Urban Dictionary. I feel special.
